Candidates should have about 150 hours of instruction and hands-on experience. While open to all, the exams are best suited for ages 16 and up. No bachelor's degree or additional prerequisites are required beyond those listed in the Objective Domains. Certifications are stackable, issued once, and valid from the date of passing.
