Release Overview

Exams from Home (EFH) Update Information:

These updates will be made available on Monday, May 20th, 2024. This was a minor maintenance release that addressed some stability and performance issues. No action will need to be taken by the user to receive these updates. Additionally, the following items were released:

Compass Cloud Update: May 16th, 2024

Release Overview

Compass Cloud Update Information:

Compass Cloud officially launched on April 4th! See the Blog post.

These updates will be made available on Thursday, May 16th, 2024. This was a minor maintenance release that addressed some stability and performance issues. No action will need to be taken by the user to receive these updates. Additionally, the following items were released:

**Compass Cloud Release Details**
Titletype	Release Notes
Invalid error when cancelling an exam session	Fixed.
Confirm button available for non-proctor	Only the proctor should be able to confirm a session.
Unexpected error may appear at the end of a session	Using specific devices was causing an unexpected error to appear.
Dashboard area doesn’t always update	After confirming a session, the next session area is not updated to reflect the status change appropriately.
Session table not sorting as expected	Changed session table to sort alphabetically.
Create an account button overlaps the footer	Fixed.
Login page footer has an extra space	Fixed.

Compass for Mac Update Information:

This update will be made available in all languages on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

**Compass Local Release Details**

Broken Flow when Student ID is Required (Compass for Mac only)	A defect has been resolved that was preventing users from launching an exam if their CATC requires a Student ID.
Updated Error Message (Compass for Mac only)	An error message has been updated to accurately inform users that a CATC has not been selected in Compass.

Portal Update: May 15th, 2024

Release Overview

Portal Update Information:

These updates will be made available on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. They will not require any action by the end user to receive them. Portal comprises the authenticated (logged in) areas of www.certiport.com. This update includes performance enhancements and some bug fixes.

Updated CATC Certificate	An updated CATC certificate is now available for Organization Administrators to download.
Score Report Error	Users will now be able to successfully load score reports for exams taken prior to 2005.

Compass UI/UX Update: May 15th, 2024

Release Overview

Compass UI/UX Update Information:

These updates to the Compass UI/UX (CPWeb) will be made available on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. They will not require any action by the end user to receive them.

**Compass UI Release Details**
Titletype	Release Notes
Config Exams & Exam Previews	Compass is now setup and ready to handle Config Exams and Exam Previews. These will be published over time by our Content teams. Config Exams will allow Organization Administrators to validate their Compass setup without using Proctors. Exam Previews will allow candidates to experience the Exam Flow without needing product, payment, or a Proctor.
Early Access Opt-In	A new setting has been added to Compass in preparation for an upcoming Feature – Early Access. This will allow us to run Beta testing on new Compass features. (The button is present but currently non-operational.)

Release Overview

Compass for Windows version 19.0.2.1322 Update Information:

This update were made available in all languages on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. This update is a routine update that includes performance enhancements, security updates and some bug fixes.

**Compass Local Release Details**
Titletype	Release Notes
Secure Browser Update	A new secure browser has been released and must be updated before an exam is launched. This will happen automatically in the background when Compass is launched.
Update Time Fixed	The time listed as ‘Next Update’ on the Compass Admin home screen has been fixed to show the correct time in all instances.
Config Exam Updates	In some cases, our Microsoft Office Specialist configuration exams were not being updated prior to a user launching them. This has now been corrected and the latest version of the configuration exam will now be launched.
New Compass Logo	A new Compass logo has been released. This will replace the icon in all locations – Desktop Icon, Application Icon, Loading icon.

Compass for Mac:

There are no updates for Compass for Mac at this time.
