**Compass Cloud Release Details**

Clever Support in Compass Cloud	Previously we had released support for Clever in the login at JVID��Ƶ.com (Portal), and Compass (Local). This month we will update Compass Cloud to be able to utilize this sign-option if you have already been approved for Clever use.
Security updates	This release includes important security updates that strengthen system protections and address potential vulnerabilities.
Improved performance for Adobe, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office exams	Various performance enhancements to the exams that require a VM.
Translation updates	Translations and localization updates.
Exam Summary will redirect to local machine	After an exam is delivered the user will be taken to the “Exam Summary” page which will allow the user to display their score report. However, the user is unable to download the score report and print it from this location in Compass Cloud because it is displayed within the VM experience for Adobe, Microsoft Office and Autodesk exams. This update will change so instead of it being displayed from the VM where the exam is delivered it will be redirected to the local machine. This will allow you to download and print the score report.

Accessibility Improvements	These are general improvements to the UI to ensure that our application is compliant with WCAG 2 requirements.
Security updates	This release includes important security updates that strengthen system protections and address potential vulnerabilities.
JPN Localization changes	Updating “Username” in all locations it may appear.
Manually typing in time may lead to an error	You may get an “Invalid time format” message when manually typing in the time.
Test Candidate may get the wrong virtual environment	Fixed. For example, if you were expecting to take a Word exam in some cases PowerPoint was launching.
VM Virtual Environment	Fixed various issues that may assign a Virtual Machine to the Test Candidate properly.

Adobe Firefly via OnVUE	The Adobe Firefly exam is now available via OnVUE.
Accessibility Updates	We continue to make improvements around accessibility for screen readers in various places throughout Portal.
Adobe Specialty Credential Expiry Date	An issue causing a small number of Adobe Specialty credentials to display an incorrect expiry date has been resolved.
Results (264) Plus Report	We have updated the Results (264) Plus report to include Test candidates date of birth.

Exam list will be sorted by Alphabetical order	The exam lists will be sorted by Program, and then by exam in alphabetical order. This enhancement will make it easier to find the exam you are looking for.

Creativity with Entrepreneurship	A new specialty credential has been created for candidates who pass both an Adobe exam and the ESB exam.
Accessibility Improvements	Various accessibility improvements have been made to the My Profile area.
Indian States	Indian states have been added to our Address component and are now selectable.
Japanese Localizations	We have made some corrections to our Japanese localizations.
Alternate Email Account Recovery	Users can now recover their account using their alternate email. Doing so will replace your primary email with your alternate email. This is especially useful for candidates who used their Clever account while at school, but have since graduated.
Egyptian National ID	Egyptian users are now able to include their National ID on their profile.

Certification Emails	An issue preventing some certification emails from being sent when candidates pass an exam has been resolved.
Japanese Localizations	We have made some updates to various Japanese strings.
Test Center Group Admin Registration	We have added the ability for users to register as a Test Center Group Admin to the My Profile – Roles tab.

Autodesk 2022 exams not working correctly	These exams have been disabled and not available in Compass Cloud. Please use later versions of the product.

Microsoft Office Specialist Expert Dates	We have corrected an issue that was displaying incorrect dates on the Microsoft Office Specialist Expert certificate.
Microsoft Office Specialist 365 Expert Certificates	We have fixed an issue that was preventing Microsoft Office Specialist 365 Expert Level exams from showing in the Print Certificate tool.
Japanese Localizations	We have localized our Access Denied page into Japanese.
IC3 Digital Literacy Certificate in Arabic	Dates will now appear in the correct position on the Arabic IC3 Digital Literacy certificates.
OnVUE Enhancements	We have improved the process for registering for an OnVUE exam.
Registration ReCAPTCHA	We have made some adjustments to our security settings to help the registration process flow a little better.
Alternate Name	My Profile will now show an Alternate Name field which can be used to enter a version of your name that JVID��Ƶ Support teams can read where your name is in a language other than English, or a preferred name that we should use instead of your legal name.
Accessibility Improvements	We have made several improvements to enhance the accessibility and usability of Portal.

Improved performance in the scheduling dashboard	In Session Schedule, if loading past sessions it may take a while to load previous sessions if there are a lot of sessions. Improved the performance to reduce the time to load the pages.
Performance enhancements	In some cases the Proctor was unable see click on the “Unlock” button required to allow the candidate to start the exam. This fix should prevent the button for being unavailable especially during high-volume times.
Add Russian Support	Russian language support is now available.
Connection test results may be incorrect	Fixed so that the results will be accurately represented.
Restart Session button not working for Autodesk & Adobe exams	Addressed an issue that may cause the “Restart Session” button from working as intended.
Access to dashboard without rights	An unexpected error would occur if you are a Proctor not associated to a test center. Fixed so that an appropriate message will appear directing the user what they would need to do to resolve the problem.

Certification Expiry	All JVID��Ƶ certificates have been updated to include an expiry date. This will be reflected on the actual certificate and also on Candidate’s Transcript.
Adobe Marketing Design Certification	The Adobe Marketing Design Certification has been introduced for Test Candidate’s who have completed Express plus Acrobat Pro or Photoshop.
CAP Admin Support Tool – Exam Reset	A bug causing the Exam Reset tool to return no users has been resolved. We have also improved a few error messages in this tool.
Birthdate Issues	Portal has been updated to ensure that inappropriate birthdays (pre-1900) are no longer allowed to be used as part of the Registration process.

Updated translations on the Exam Lobby page	Updated the localizations to be clearer on the exam lobby page. Following languages were updated: Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese
When clicking on the registration link from the Compass Cloud login it would display English	When clicking on links from the login page, you will now be taken into those pages based on the language set on the login screen.
Display the name based on the Portal preference	Where a full name is displayed, the Portal preference “Display surname first” will be honored for all full name display purposes. This can be modified in My Profile.
Proctor dashboard may show an incorrect status	Fixed an issue where using the batch unlock option may change the status and it may show inaccurately.

CATC Association Email	We have updated the email that is sent when a user is first associated with a CATC.
Removed Site License Agreement Requirements	Site License Agreements have been consolidated into our CATC agreement.
Email System Enhancements	We have improved and enhanced our email system integration.
Microsoft Welcome Email	We have made some enhancements to the email that is sent when a Microsoft certification is earned.
New Profile Area	All users now have access to our new My profile experience in Portal.
New Profile Demographics Page	All users now have access to an updated Demographics tab on the My profile page.
Updated Dates	Dates have been updated to use the regional settings of the device being used.

Compass UI/UX Update Information:

These updates were made available on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. They will not require any action by the end user to receive them. This update includes some enhancements.

Compass Cloud Support	A defect causing Adobe exams to close too early in Compass Cloud has been resolved.
Compass LAN Mode Test Connection	The Test Connection button in the Compass Settings → LAN Settings has been fixed.
Configuration Exams Clarification	A message has been added to remind Compass Administrators that they should not be sharing Config Exams with Test Candidates.
Microsoft Tiles	We have updated the Microsoft tiles on the Exam Selection page to assist with clarity.
