Compass Cloud Update Information:
Compass Cloud officially launched in 2024! See the
Blog post.
These updates were made available on Thursday, January 23, 2025. This minor update enhances stability, performance, and usability. Users do not need to take any action to receive these updates. Below is the list of improvements:

| Allow Proctor to remove candidate from the exam lobby page |
Provided the ability for proctors to remove a candidate from the exam session for various reasons such as the wrong exam access code was entered. |

| Display only the 8-digit CATC ID |
In some cases older CATC’s have a 4-digit CATC ID that we no longer use. |
| Unable to clear the Programs Selection |
If you select the program, you are unable to clear the selection properly. |
| Preference page display incorrect message on mobile number |
Fixed an issue where the message comes up incorrectly when entering a mobile number. |
| On Chromebook you may be redirected to the Access Code page instead of login page |
If a previous session was closed using the control in the top-right corner the session wasn’t cleared properly resulting in the next time the app is launched going to the Access Code page instead of the login page. |
| Added Start menu entry using the Compass Cloud installer |
Previously, the installer would not add a Start Menu entry. |
| Payment type list is not sorted |
Payment list is not sorted Alphabetically to help find the right payment option easier. |
| Cannot clear the programs selection |
Fixed issue preventing the user from being able to deselect a program. |
| Confusing message when scheduling an exam session |
Fixed issue that if you select a valid time for an exam session, but the time becomes invalid before you click Submit, you get a generic error toast, so the user does not know the reason for the error. |
| Confirmation message not being sent |
Fixed issue causing these messages to not be sent as they should. |
| Duplicate candidate connections |
Fixed issue that may cause a candidate to appear in the Proctor dashboard multiple times using up a seat for another candidate. |
| Preference edit page displays an invalid error |
If you enter an invalid number using alpha numeric text you’d receive the wrong message. Now it will display the “Mobile number invalid format. |
| Chromebook in some cases will redirect to Access Code page instead of login page |
Fixed so that the login page will appear. |
| Localization not displaying until after page refresh |
In the communications preference, some text wouldn’t appear localized without a page refresh. |
| Preferences page has mobile alignment issues |
Fixed on Mobile. |
| Data and Time field in the SMS confirmation page is not formatted correctly |
Fixed formatting to display correctly. |
| Banner is displaying after user opts in an saves preferences |
Banner will go away after preferences are saved. |
| Side navigation panel and login user name may disappear after page refresh |
Fixed display issue. |
